We use our prepaid system for almost all of our products. This causes products to expire automatically unless they are cancelled or extended. However, since automatic renewal was activated as standard for domains, we often received requests from customers whose domain(s) were renewed even though they no longer wanted them. This often resulted in avoidable costs and circumstances for us and our customers.
Excluded are .ch domains, as these can only be renewed by automatic renewal.
